Some take it even further than this and include the option of custom storage units. The desk can be moved between two units with wheels. A low line loft bed with turned staircases is another favorite choice for many of our clients. This compact midi-loft with storage is ideal for children as the desk slides out and in on wheels. There are three drawers for their toys or trinkets and a large cabinet to store books.
Some midi loft beds that have storage come with a desk already in the bunk (as shown in the image above) and others, like our Luna Midi Bunk have the ladder positioned on the right hand side so that the desk can be placed at the left (please inquire in the store, or on the phone or add this in the comments section while checking out in case this is important to you).
Most Midi loft beds require a standard UK Single mattress (3ft/90x190cm) with a wooden base. The cost of the bed does not include the mattress. We suggest looking through our mattress deals to find one that will fit your budget.
Storage

They are also usually available with a variety of clever storage components such as a desk, drawers and cupboards for toys, books and other things. Some midi loft bed models include a stylish, moveable tent that can be used to host sleepovers, games and activities.

The Luna low line loft or midi includes an low-level staircase that can be turned, a table on wheels that can slide in and out, two large drawers, and a cupboard door. Mattress
Most midi beds are fitted with standard UK single mattresses. The top bunk comes with a security rail for extra security. Some models have the option of a pull-out trundle drawer which can be used to host sleeping overs, or for adding additional storage space underneath the bed. These can be either open or equipped with a door (please refer to the product details for more information).
A lot of midi cabins have a desk which can be moved between the two upper levels or chests of drawers. This gives children their own space to keep all of their belongings. This also means they don't need to make use of floor space by using bulky shelving or wardrobes.
A few models have taken it an extra step with cabinet-style storage that is flush mounted or is part of the headboard/footboard. This is ideal for storing books and toys.
